Aerostream is seeking a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our Warehouse team as an Owner-Operator Driver on a full-time basis.
As an Owner Operator Driver at Aerostream, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of shipments from our warehouse to customer locations. You will be expected to adhere to company procedures, use our ELD systems, and ensure all required paperwork is signed and recorded. Our commitment to safety means you will also be required to follow all safety procedures and requirements, maintaining a safe working environment for all our employees and customers.
Job Summary:
· Make deliveries throughout Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, from Richmond (YVR) to Squamish and Chilliwack
· Pallet jack loading/unloading of the truck as required
· Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks using the company’s ELD system
· Report any discrepancies for company equipment, vehicles, and paperwork as they arise
· Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations
· Good organizational and time management skills
Operational Business Hours:
Available for core business hours between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Possibility for premium pay for shifts outside of core business hours or on weekends.
Required Qualifications:
· 3-Ton truck with a working power lift gate
· Truck will be subject to inspection at the owner’s cost
· Truck cab and box is to be clean and in good physical condition
· Valid truck insurance
· Valid Worker’s Compensation Coverage
· Ability to follow all company safety procedures and policies
· Clean driver’s abstract
· Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check, as we are a bonded facility
· Ability to complete all compliance and regulatory testing requirements
· Smart Phone with Android or iOS system for tracking applications
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· Ability to effectively handle critical issues and work under pressure with tight deadlines
· Good communication skills
· Safe attitude and follow all road safety and driving laws
· Punctual
Compensation:
At Aerostream, we value the hard work and dedication of our Owner Operator Drivers. On average, our Owner Operator drivers can earn between $7,000 and $12,000 per month, depending on the volume of work and willingness to work. This competitive pay package is designed to reward your efforts and motivate you to excel in your role.
