We are looking for a detail‑oriented, organized, and compassionate Legal Assistant who wants to grow within a close‑knit team. Responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and review legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and reports with precision for Superior Court and LAT.
- Manage case files and documents using Clio & Supio.
- Manage court filings using Case Centre.
- Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as needed to gather pertinent information.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case details, client information, and legal documentation.
- Organize and file legal documents systematically for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
- Handle administrative duties including client inquiries with professional etiquette, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
- Support attorneys with legal drafting, editing, and proofreading to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members on various clerical tasks to maintain smooth office operations.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role within a legal environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent writing skills, including legal drafting and proofreading capabilities.
- Experience using document management systems like Clio and Case Centre or similar platforms.
- Ability to perform detailed data entry accurately.
- Professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of filing systems and clerical procedures relevant to legal offices.
- Prior experience with legal document preparation, interviewing clients or witnesses is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
