Hello,
We are looking for someone who is hard-working, organized, creative, and passionate about food and customer service. You will be able to work in a high-pressure, high-turnover environment, have excellent interpersonal, speak, read, and write English and communication skills, be a team player and also able to work unsupervised. You will also be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Must be able to work on some weekdays morning. No experience needed, But most importantly, work ethic and keep yourself busy.
About the Role:
The cook/kitchen helper is responsible for preparing food and beverages, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen, washing dishes, and assisting with daily cleaning duties. The kitchen helper will also assist with the development of culinary skills in their assigned kitchen team member.
Essential Functions:
Follows all safety regulations and procedures
- Communicates with other kitchen staff members as part of the kitchen team
- Maintains a clean and orderly kitchen by following all food safety, sanitization, and housekeeping procedures
- Cleans and organizes workstations, work areas, and prep areas
- Follows all prep areas and food handling responsibilities, including handling raw meats, seafood, poultry, eggs, cheeses, etc.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area including all utensils and equipment
- Follows all prep areas responsibilities including making beverages such as coffee, tea, soda water, etc.
- Maintains a clean and orderly bathroom by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.

Ability to follow directions well enough to avoid errors
