Bassani Transportation Service Inc. is a privately-owned transportation company specializing in equipment, heavy haul, over-dimensional, and general transportation.
We are currently looking for experienced Equipment Transport & Heavy Haul Truck Drivers. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for loading, transporting, and offloading over-sized loads and equipment.
- Work is performed primarily across Western Canada mostly in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan however not limited to just these areas. We are a US carrier; there could be some work in the US.
- There is no set work week, some weekend work is required. Primarily Monday thru Friday and we try to ensure employees only work every other weekend.

Job Description
- Transportation of small and medium size equipment. There is some heavy haul transportation involved in the job as well.
- Travel to and from customer sites either independently or accompanied by various Pilot Trucks.
- Ensure load securement equipment is maintained properly.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork including Field Level Risk Assessment prior to starting job and Electronic Log Device, vehicle inspection, time sheet, and bill of lading throughout the duration of job.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Pull multi-wheel trailer configurations, scissor neck, trombone, and hydraulic trailers as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of Class 1 license with relatively clean driver’s abstract (will be reviewed).
- Minimum five (5) years experience transporting equipment, including driving in the US.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Current passport.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Able to read, understand, and follow safety procedures & policies.
- Ability to communicate with customers over the phone and in person on job sites.
