Job Overview
Type: Full-time M-F 7:30 - 4:30, option for more hours as required.
We are looking for an experienced Furniture Finisher / Sprayer to join our high-quality Mennonite furniture operation.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the final finishing and spraying of custom-built Mennonite furniture. This is skilled work that requires a good eye for detail and experience with stains, lacquers, and spray equipment.
Key Duties:
- Preparing furniture surfaces for finishing (sanding, cleaning, etc.)
- Applying stains, sealers, and protective coatings
- Operating spray equipment for professional lacquer and paint finishes
- Colour matching and custom finishing as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Occasional light assembly or touch-ups
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Furniture Finisher, Spray Painter, or Cabinet Finisher (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with solid wood Mennonite-style or high-end custom furniture is a strong asset
