This is a hands-on sales role for someone who enjoys building relationships, finding opportunities, opening doors, and turning conversations into long-term business.
You will be responsible for developing new clients, growing existing accounts, identifying upcoming projects, and helping position Eaglegreen as a preferred traffic management and traffic control provider for contractors, municipalities, developers, utilities, and other organizations requiring reliable traffic control services.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across construction, civil infrastructure, utilities, municipalities, telecommunications, development, and related industries.
- Prospect for new clients through calls, emails, networking, referrals, site visits, industry contacts, and market research.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, project managers, estimators, procurement teams, site supervisors, and decision-makers.
- Develop new accounts and grow existing client relationships.
- Understand upcoming client projects and identify opportunities for Eaglegreen to provide: Traffic Control Persons (TCPs / Flaggers); Lane Control Technicians (LCTs); Traffic control vehicles and equipment rentals; and Traffic Management Plans and related traffic management services
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, rate requests, and service opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements while maintaining healthy margins and long-term client relationships.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and existing customers.
- Track leads, opportunities, quotations, client communication, and sales activity through the company’s CRM and internal systems.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and progress updates.
- Monitor upcoming projects, tenders, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Work closely with Operations, Dispatch, Traffic Management, Fleet, and Management to ensure commitments made to clients can be successfully delivered.
- Gather feedback from clients and help resolve service concerns where required.
- Represent Eaglegreen professionally at meetings, job sites, networking events, and industry functions.
- Look for opportunities to expand Eaglegreen into new clients, projects, service areas, and markets.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
- A strong ability to generate new business rather than relying only on inbound leads.
- Confident prospecting and cold-calling skills.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Comfortable speaking with business owners, project managers, estimators, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities at the same time.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without needing constant direction.
- Strong follow-up habits and a sense of urgency.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using CRM, quoting, reporting, and other business software.
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally to meet clients and visit project sites.
- Experience in traffic control, construction, civil contracting, utilities, telecommunications, or infrastructure is an asset, but not mandatory.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is an asset but not required.
The Person Who Will Succeed in This Role

- Are competitive and motivated by results.
- Enjoy finding opportunities that others may overlook.
- Are comfortable reaching out to people you have never spoken with before.
- Follow up until you get an answer.
- Know how to build trust instead of simply selling on price.
- Can turn one project into a long-term client relationship.
- Take ownership of your numbers and your pipeline.
- Are comfortable being out in the market rather than sitting behind a desk all day.
- Understand that successful sales comes from consistent activity, relationship building, and follow-through.
