Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable casual part-time caretaker to support the maintenance and cleanliness of an amenity building. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who is customer service oriented as some office/reception work is required, and interested in contributing to a safe and well-maintained environment. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our workspace remains clean, organized, and fully functional to support daily operations.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning of windows/mirrors across various areas of the facility, daily vacuuming common areas, deep cleaning of mens/womens washrooms/changerooms, and common spaces
- Laundry/Cleaning/making beds and preparing 2 guest suites for the next booking
- Computer knowledge an asset, customer service oriented a must
- Conduct basic facilities maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to management
- Support general facilities upkeep by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Learn pool and hot tub maintenance along with keeping pool area presentable
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and cleanliness
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
