Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle food with care to prevent contamination or spoilage, adhering strictly to food handling protocols.
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tables or stations simultaneously.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly for smooth kitchen operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, meal assembly, and basic cooking skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience working in fast-paced kitchens or with food industry equipment will be considered a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team and deliver excellent customer service are essential.
