JOB SUMMARY
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating product & service transportation delivery activities and providing – in collaboration with subject-matter experts –exceptional customer support. The logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of raw materials and final products from suppliers to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
- Coordinate internal activities with customer needs & expectations.
- Overseeing all supply chain operations.
- Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
- Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
- Ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure smooth operations
- Procuring goods, handling logistics, performing quality checks, and investigating & resolving service-failure events (i.e. defects, unsatisfied customers, late deliveries, etc.)
- Update operational and technical databases, and ensure master data integrity.
- Generate various operational reports.
- Update inventory records and pick-pack-ship small customer orders
- Provide general administrative assistance to CCSE’s leadership team.
- Assemble quality reports and other related documents.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support (hardware & software) on CCSE’s environmental monitoring platform UNI°COLD.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate subject-matter expert on an as-need.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma or certification in logistics and coordination, business administration or any relevant certification in a similar role
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or any other equivalent experience
- Knowledge areas: logistics, inventory management and general administration
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English and French.
