IronRock Concrete Coatings is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Concrete Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role involves cleaning and preparing concrete surfaces using pressure washing equipment and specialty cleaning products prior to coating, and restoration projects.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, handling equipment, following procedures, and working with cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
This position typically offers 15-20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours during busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Pressure wash concrete surfaces including driveways, patios, sidewalks, and pool decks
- Apply cleaning solutions and specialty chemicals according to company procedures
- Load, unload, and move equipment and materials between job sites
- Set up and maintain hoses, pressure washers, surface cleaners, and related equipment
- Follow company procedures and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Complete work safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with customers when required
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals and wearing required safety equipment
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a schedule
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pressure washing, construction, landscaping, or general labour
- Experience operating outdoor equipment and power tools
- Customer service experience
