What you’ll do
The Contract Administrator will work as an integral part of the Finance Shared Services, focused on accounts payable, while working closely with the construction team. You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while understanding the criticality of maintaining accuracy and reliability of work performed. This is a front-line position directly involved in the day-to-day activity of the team, other internal resources, vendors, consultants and contractors.
- Utilize various systems to record and track budgets, along with vendor invoicing.
- Engage in strategic conversations across multiple levels to improve processes and create efficiencies while working towards a one company directive.
- Issue, process, review, and track Capital approval documents, contracts, progress draws, tenant allowances, purchase orders and invoices in a quick and accurate manner
- Maintain project repository including project file set up and project closeout documents
- Drive improvement opportunities and changes to current and new processes/systems with cross functional and multiple stakeholder groups.
- Build upon internal and external relationships to ensure excellency in customer service and an overall positive working environment.
- Identify problems and take accountability for the resolution or escalations as appropriate
- Communicate, as necessary with various Consultants, Vendors, General Contractors, Architects, Lawyers, Landlords, Real Estate Accounting and other stakeholders.
What you bring
- University degree or College Diploma in Accounting or Finance areas
- 2-3 years’ experience in a supporting design and construction role
- Lucernex and/or Coupa knowledge is considered an asset.
- Self-starter with ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to thrive in an environment responsive to changing business requirements
- Advanced PC skills including Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Our typical hiring range is between $44,000 and $58,500. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
