The organization is investing approximately $533 million into expanding existing operations and developing a new state-of-the-art production facility featuring AI-enabled manufacturing systems, automated warehousing capabilities, and sustainable production practices. The business operates within the beverage and cold-pack manufacturing sector and continues to experience rapid growth driven by increased customer demand and market expansion.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations within a high-volume food and beverage production environment. Reporting into senior leadership, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, production continuity, safety compliance, quality standards, and workforce coordination across multiple production lines.
This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in fast-paced production environments and understands the operational demands of modern food or beverage manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily factory operations across production, packaging, warehousing, and shift coordination activities.
- Ensure production schedules, throughput targets, and operational KPIs are achieved efficiently and safely.
- Monitor and improve operational workflows, equipment utilization, and labour productivity.
- Partner closely with maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Support the launch and scaling of new production lines and facility expansion initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, automation integration, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP requirements, health and safety regulations, and internal operating procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop frontline supervisors and production staff.
- Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, staffing, and operational reporting.
- Contribute to operational planning as the organization continues to scale manufacturing capacity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 plus years of progressive manufacturing operations experience within food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods environments.
- Strong preference for candidates with beverage manufacturing or cold-pack production experience.
- Previous experience operating within high-volume production facilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing production teams within a factory environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, GMP standards, and manufacturing compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting automation, process improvement, or facility expansion initiatives is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Salary will vary according to previous experience.
Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
