Flexahopper Plastics Ltd. – Lethbridge, AB
Flexahopper Plastics is looking for a dependable and hardworking General Labourer – Maintenance to join our team. This is a hands-on role that supports our manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment, preparing tooling for production, and helping keep our facility organized, safe, and running efficiently.
No rotational molding experience is required—we will provide training. If you have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Move equipment and tooling safely using hoists and other material-handling equipment.
- Clean, inspect, lubricate, and perform basic maintenance on molds, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare molds and equipment for production to ensure they are ready when needed.
- Retrieve and return molds and equipment from indoor and outdoor storage areas.
- Assist with identifying and reporting equipment issues, wear, or damage.
- Perform quality checks and support production standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Keep walkways and work areas clear and free of obstacles.
- Support production schedules by ensuring equipment is available and ready for use.
- Follow all company procedures, safety policies, and Alberta OHS regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, maintenance, construction, farming, warehousing, or a similar hands-on environment is an asset.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
