Debao Stone Inc. is a Richmond-based stone surface supplier serving builders, designers, contractors, cabinet shops, fabricators, developers, and homeowners across Metro Vancouver.
We supply quartz, sintered stone, porcelain, granite, marble, and other premium slab materials for residential and commercial projects.
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Sales Manager to help grow our project-based business and trade client relationships.
This is not an entry-level showroom sales position. We are looking for someone who already understands the local construction, renovation, design, and building materials industry, and can communicate directly with professional trade clients.
About the Role
The Senior Project Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing project sales opportunities with builders, designers, developers, general contractors, cabinet companies, renovation companies, and fabricators.
The ideal candidate should understand how projects move in the Metro Vancouver market, including material selection, quotation, timelines, client follow-up, and order confirmation.
This role is best suited for someone with existing industry experience and strong relationship-building skills. We are looking for a project-focused sales professional who can help bring real opportunities, manage trade accounts, and close business with proper company support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project-based sales opportunities across Metro Vancouver
- Build and maintain relationships with builders, designers, developers, contractors, cabinet shops, renovation companies, and fabricators
- Act as the main contact for trade clients from product selection to quotation and order confirmation
- Understand project requirements, material needs, timelines, and client expectations
- Present suitable slab options, pricing, availability, and product advantages
- Follow up with project leads and move opportunities toward closing
- Visit client offices, showrooms, job sites, and project locations when needed
- Work closely with the showroom, quotation team, warehouse, and management
- Maintain long-term trade accounts instead of only handling one-time walk-in sales
- Represent Debao Stone professionally in the local market
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in stone, countertops, cabinets, flooring, tile, construction, renovation, interior design, architectural products, or building materials
- Existing local relationships with designers, builders, developers, contractors, cabinet shops, fabricators, or renovation companies is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of project-based sales and trade client communication
- Ability to discuss materials, pricing, timelines, drawings, project needs, and order details professionally
- Confident in developing business outside the showroom
- Comfortable visiting clients, offices, showrooms, and job sites when needed
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to close sales
- Professional communication skills in English
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Additional languages are an asset
Strong Assets
- Existing book of business or active trade relationships in Metro Vancouver
- Experience selling to builders, designers, developers, or general contractors
- Experience with slab materials, countertops, cabinets, flooring, tile, millwork, or construction finishes
- Ability to read basic drawings, layouts, measurements, or project specifications
- Understanding of renovation and new-build project timelines
- Proven history of managing repeat trade clients
Compensation
Base salary + commission / performance bonus.
Total compensation will depend on experience, existing trade relationships, and project sales performance. High earning potential is available for the right candidate.
