The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to both the material work order desk, purchasing and and other duties as assigned. This role would work from our Winkler Office.

What You'll Do:
-
Provide administrative support to the material order desk
-
PO Receiving
-
Sales Orders
-
Inventory Transfers
-
Monitoring all requests for inventory
-
Providing support to Supply Chain Administrator
-
Assisting with arranging materials pickups and deliveries
-
Reviewing actual materials consumption compared to BOM requirements
-
Communicating in person and online with Valley Fiber and subcontractor yards and warehouses
-
Creating ‘Requests for Inventory’ for submission to Purchasing
-
Serve as backup to Purchaser
-
Communicating with purchasing when stock levels are low
-
Escalating materials concerns to management
-
Data entry in Netsuite as needed
