*Job Summary
- TCP Trucking is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Operator for its Calgary Operation.
*Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will be specifically focused in hauling aggregates and operating on a year round basis
- Safely transporting loads within the Calgary Area
- Operation of an 8 axle gravel unit consisting of end dump and side dump trailers
- Operate within the legal parameters of the Provincial Hours of Service and must complete pre-trip inspection.
- Exercise proper loading and unloading practices
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
*Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class 1 drivers license
- Must provide a Drivers Abstract dated within 30 days, prior to hire on
- Possess a working knowledge of the gravel hauling industry and understanding of applicable transportation legislation.
*Work Conditions
- Job safety is a primary focus for absolutely everyone: zero incidents is the goal.
- Hours are reasonable.
- Trips generally originate with in and around Calgary to various sites within a 160 km radius.
- Majority is city driving within 160km radius and the driver returns to base daily.
