Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take and serve drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following proper food safety and handling procedures
- Serve food items promptly and professionally to guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills
- Engage with guests to ensure an enjoyable experience, providing excellent customer service
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing duties as required
- Follow all food safety regulations and hospitality standards to ensure guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in a bar or hospitality setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cashiering tools
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly is a plus, along with knowledge of the food industry standards
