Lead hand/ equipment operator needed for the north Okanagan/Shuswap area.
- full time work seasonal work
- must have minimum 1-2 years in an industrial setting
- safety is a priority on our sites must be able to follow safe work procedures , block plans ,erp, and swp plans
- must have 3-5 years experience in a civil/ residential excavation setting
- this is not a camp job and no accommodations is supplied must be willing to relocate or live in the area
$35.00 -$37.00 as employee
$35.00 -$50.00/hr as subcontractor
- must have class 5 with heavy trailer endorsement or class 1 or 3 clear drivers abstract
- must have one ton pickup ( I will pay daily pickup rate)
- must be hard working and not afraid to get dirty
Daily duties include but not limited to
1. Equipment operation Mini excavators , large excavators (250 size), skid steers, dozers, packers, rock trucks etc.
2. Helping with owner with day to day operations ( must have knowledge of general excavation projects, parts running , general maintenance, mechanical repairs etc.)
3. Must be able to take charge and lead a crew safely and efficiently
- first aid an asset
