Yoke Group is looking for a reliable, hands-on Painter / Handyman to help across our real estate development and property management projects.
Painting will be a major part of the role. Work will include surface prep, patching, sanding, priming, rolling, cutting, touch-ups, repainting units, common areas, trim, doors, and other property spaces.
This role will also include general handyman and site labour tasks such as garbage cleanup, minor repairs, moving materials, organizing tools and supplies, basic demolition cleanup, and helping prepare units or buildings for trades, tenants, or showings.
This is a full-time hourly role with steady work available immediately. For the right person, there is potential for long-term work as our portfolio grows.
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
- Interior painting, touch-ups, prep, patching, sanding, and priming
- Painting walls, trim, doors, common areas, and rental units
- Basic drywall patching and minor repairs
- Site cleanup and garbage removal
- Moving materials, supplies, tools, and small equipment
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
- Assisting with property turnover and maintenance tasks
- Taking direction from a daily task list
- Providing photo updates when tasks are completed
Requirements
- Painting experience required
- Basic handyman skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable with physical work and dirty jobs when needed
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Steel-toe boots required
- Valid driver’s licence and vehicle preferred
- Basic tools preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to do a variety of tasks
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean paint work but is also willing to jump into general maintenance and site tasks. The right person is practical, reliable, detail-oriented, and not afraid of hard work.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
