Your contribution!
As a Senior Counsel – Corporate Affairs, you will serve as an expert advisor on governance, corporate law, and compliance for the entire organization. You will support the Board of Directors, its committees, and affiliated companies in their decision-making and administrative activities, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations and best governance practices.
You will also contribute to the development of the company’s governance frameworks, compliance with privacy laws, and the implementation of corporate policies aligned with industry best practices.
Your day-to-day!
- Prepare for and participate in meetings of the Board of Directors and its committees, including the preparation of preliminary agendas, executive summaries, supporting documents, and minutes
- Follow up on decisions and actions resulting from Board and committee meetings
- Provide legal advice and support regarding corporate law, governance, and privacy
- Participate in corporate reorganization projects and ensure that relevant information is communicated to the parties involved
- Ensure the development, updating, and maintenance of the Code of Conduct and related policies
- Cooperate in investigations related to complaints received under the Code of Conduct or other corporate policies
- Advise the organization on best practices in governance and monitor new market trends and requirements
- Draft and update corporate regulations, policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Serve as secretary of the Board at the annual meetings of affiliated companies
- Participate in compliance initiatives related to the protection of personal information and the French language
Your skills, our requirements!
- Bachelor of Law
- Member of the Quebec Bar or the bar association of another Canadian province
- At least 7 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, in-house, or in a combination of both settings

This position is a P4 level.
