JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team.
This is a hands-on retail position for someone who enjoys working with people, is willing to learn about our products, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Our Retail Sales Associates do more than process transactions. You will assist customers, demonstrate products, maintain displays, organize merchandise, receive and unpack shipments, and help with the various day-to-day responsibilities involved in keeping the store running smoothly.
Previous retail or customer-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate who is reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service Assist customers in selecting products that best meet their individual needs Learn our product selection and confidently explain product features, benefits, specifications, and differences Demonstrate strollers, car seats, and other products to customers Recommend appropriate accessories and complementary products Process purchases and returns accurately using the POS system Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions responsibly Answer telephone inquiries professionally and courteously Maintain clean, organized, and attractive product displays Assist with merchandising, restocking, pricing, and organizing merchandise Receive, unpack, organize, and move incoming merchandise and shipments Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment Serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods while maintaining excellent service Work cooperatively with other team members to support daily store operations Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Willing and able to learn detailed information about baby products Comfortable demonstrating products and explaining their features to customers Strong organizational and time-management skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable using a POS system and handling transactions accurately Basic math skills for cash handling and pricing Previous retail sales or customer-service experience is an asset Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset Must be available to work weekends and other scheduled shifts as required Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs as required for the position Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving merchandise throughout a shift Must be flexible and willing to assist with a variety of store-related tasks as needed

We are looking for someone who is genuinely helpful, dependable, and interested in providing customers with an excellent shopping experience. Product knowledge can be learned, but reliability, professionalism, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
