The Sign Group Inc. is a fast-growing signage and graphics company based in Calgary. We specialize in high-quality custom signage solutions for commercial clients, delivering everything from concept and design to production and installation.
We’re looking for an experienced Sales & Design Specialist who can confidently manage client relationships while producing professional, print-ready designs.
Position Overview
This role combines sales, customer service, and graphic design. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients—guiding them from initial inquiry through design, quoting, and project completion.
We are specifically seeking someone with proven industry experience who can step in and contribute right away.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming client inquiries (email, phone, walk-ins)
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Consult with clients to understand project needs, budget, and timelines
- Create and prepareprint-ready design files (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, etc.)
- Produce accurate quotes and follow up on opportunities
- Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure smooth execution
- Review artwork for accuracy, sizing, and production feasibility
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Qualifications & Experience (Required)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the signage, print, or graphic design industry
- Strong proficiency in CorelDRAW (preferred), Adobe Illustrator, and/or similar software
- Experience preparing vector, print-ready files (EPS/PDF with outlines)
- Solid understanding of signage materials and fabrication processes
- Previous experience in a signage shop or print production environment
- Knowledge of large format printing, vinyl, and installation processes
- Sales experience including quoting and closing projects
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
