Innovative Trailer Design Industries, commonly known as ITD, is a leading manufacturer of commercial transport trailers, chassis, truck bodies, and specialty transportation equipment.
We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused General Labourer to support our manufacturing and production teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing assigned tasks, maintaining clean and organized work areas, moving materials, counting parts, and assisting production employees as required. This is a physically active position that requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
Duties
- Assist with the assembly of trailer components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Sweep and clean production floors, work areas, and common spaces.
- Pick up and properly dispose of garbage, scrap material, and production waste.
- Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Lift, carry, move, load, and unload materials and parts.
- Count, sort, organize, and prepare parts and materials for production.
- Place materials and supplies in their designated locations.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming materials.
- Support production and assembly employees with general tasks.
- Move tools, equipment, components, and finished products as directed.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within the required timelines.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
- Follow instructions provided by supervisors and team leaders.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
- Assist other departments when required to meet production schedules.
- Perform other general labour and housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous general labour, warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or production experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Comfortable sweeping, cleaning, picking up garbage, and maintaining work areas.
- Ability to count, sort, and organize parts and materials accurately.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or 23 kg regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to regular attendance.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
- Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.
- Regular exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- The position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
- Personal protective equipment must be worn as required, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots.
- Overtime may be required depending on production demands.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
