What We Offer
$24.00/hour | $30.00/hour after-hours (8:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

What You’ll Do
You will support whichever division needs you — Residential or Janitorial — depending on the week. Some shifts will be planned. Others will come with short notice. Sick calls, schedule gaps, last-minute bookings, after-hours coverage. What never changes is the standard.
You will:
- Clean and maintain residential homes to The Kind Hearted Company standard
- Deliver janitorial and commercial cleaning services at contracted locations as needed
- Travel between job sites across Greater Victoria throughout your shift
- Use and care for company-supplied equipment and approved products
- Communicate clearly with your manager regarding scheduling and site details
- Adapt comfortably across different environments, home styles, and service types
- Represent KHC with professionalism and care in every space you enter

What We’re Looking For
We hire for attitude first. Skills can be refined. Character cannot.
The right person walks in, figures it out, and leaves every space better than they found it. They do not need to be managed closely. They take ownership — and they are looking for a place where that actually gets noticed.
You must:
- Be currently located in Greater Victoria, BC
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship available)
- Have your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence
- Have a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Residential Cleaning, Hotel Housekeeping, Janitorial, Custodial, Commercial Cleaning, or a similar field
- Be genuinely available for flexible, on-call scheduling, including evenings, last-minute requests, and after-hours bookings
- Understand and be comfortable with no guaranteed hours
- Bring reliability, professionalism, and a positive customer service mindset to every shift
You will stand out if you:
- Have experience across both residential and commercial cleaning environments
- Thrive with variety and adapt easily to different spaces and clients
- Work with confidence and composure when you are on your own
- Are interested in eventually growing into a more regular role within KHC
