Experienced Automotive Service Advisor
Pay: Starting at $24.00 per hour
Canadian Tire Burnaby is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our service department.
We're looking for someone who can step into the role with confidence. The ideal candidate has previous Service Advisor experience, takes ownership of their work, works well with customers and technicians, and can manage a busy service counter with minimal direction.
Responsibilities
· Provide exceptional customer service from vehicle check-in to vehicle pick-up.
· Listen to customer concerns and recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services.
· Prepare accurate estimates and explain repairs clearly.
· Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
· Coordinate repairs with technicians to ensure work is completed correctly and on time.
· Schedule service and repair appointments.
· Order parts and tires when required.
· Maintain accurate repair orders using our computerized work order system.
· Handle customer concerns professionally.
Qualifications
· Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience is required.
· Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
· Experience with CoStar, Mitchell 1, Worldpac, and DT Tire is an asset.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently, stay organized, and take ownership of the role.
· Valid BC Driver's Licence.
Compensation & Benefits
· Starting wage from $24.00/hour. Depending on experience.
· Full-time, permanent position.
· Three-month probation period.
· Employee discount after successful completion of the three-month probation period.
· Extended health and dental benefits after 6 months.
· Profit sharing after 1 year of employment.
Schedule
Our Automotive Service Department operates 7 days a week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Weekend availability is required.
