WHO WE ARE
TFT ALCO Group INC. is a fast-growing company specializing in heavy vehicle transportation (shuttle service). We move vehicles over short, medium, and long distances across Canada and the United States.
POSITION SUMMARY
The AZ or DZ driver is responsible for driving various types of heavy vehicles to ensure their transfer over medium and long distances across Canada and the United States.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Home terminal: Hamilton (Ontario)
- Salary: $23.10/hr (+ $1/hr performance bonus) (+ $2/hr for U.S. driving) or flat rate
- Per diem for U.S. trips: $4/hr (maximum $40/day)
- Position type: Full-time
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Drive different types of vehicles to the designated locations
- Perform proper safety inspections (mechanical check)
- Maintain communication with dispatchers
- Operate equipment safely and attentively
- Follow delivery instructions
- Perform other related tasks
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years of truck driving experience
- Excellent driving record
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
- Good command of English
- Comfortable with technology (apps and mobile phone use)
