Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and excellent customer service skills. This role involves preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping ingredients, assembling toppings, and portioning dough
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients and utensils
- Serve customers at the counter or via take-out orders with professionalism and friendliness
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of all menu items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy hours
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain smooth workflow
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
