Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team mainly during brunch service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting in meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about food service, cooking, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated candidates eager to develop their skills in the food industry. Pay Depends on experience, between $18 and $22 plus tips
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Assist with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for staff and guests
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience with serving customers or working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is a plus
- Strong understanding of the food industry standards for quality, hygiene, and safety
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
