Thinking Ceramic is a cozy clay + coffee studio in the heart of downtown Halifax, where creativity meets comfort.
We offer paint-your-own ceramics, simple clay handbuilding experiences, and specialty drinks in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Our mission is to create a fun, stress-free space where people of all ages can slow down, get creative, and enjoy the moment.
We're looking for friendly, proactive team members who enjoy connecting with people and helping create memorable experiences. No artistic background is required—we believe creativity is for everyone, and we'll provide all the training you need.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Introduce our pottery painting and clay handbuilding activities
- Guide customers through projects using simple instructions (training provided)
- Proactively check in with customers throughout their visit and offer assistance when needed
- Prepare and serve coffee and beverages from our menu (training provided)
- Handle check-ins, payments, and customer inquiries in person and over the phone
- Keep the studio clean, organized, and well stocked by wiping tables, rinsing brushes, replenishing supplies, and assisting with opening and closing duties
- Jump in wherever help is needed to keep the studio running smoothly during busy periods

- Confident approaching customers and offering help proactively
- Reliable, responsible, and takes pride in their work
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Available to work weekends and weekday evenings
