Kalyna Country PCN seeking NP support for the Vegreville and Mundare communities and are open to both virtual and in-person service delivery models. At present, we are looking for coverage of approximately two days per week in Vegreville and Mundare; however, there is potential for the role to expand to a full-time FTE if services are extended to include Viking as well. The successful candidate will work closely with the family physicians and other community health professionals to ensure delivery of high-quality evidence base health care. We provide flexible hours, but some evenings are required.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience in Mental Health/Addictions would be preferred
- Previous experience in a Primary Care setting an asset
- BCLS-HCP
- Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the
College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).
