Your Opportunity:
Are you looking for a new opportunity that will allow you to build on and enhance your scope of practice? An opportunity where you will use your knowledge, skills and experience to build relationships with your clients and team members? Home Care could be the exciting new challenge for your career. Home Care has transformed into a fast paced, dynamic environment which will have your days filled with different health related concerns, activities and tasks (i.e. palliative therapies, home parenteral therapy, wound care and much more). One day will not be the same as the one before or the one after. Working in home care will give you a different perspective and approach to providing client care. You will report to the Home Care Manager and will be responsible for coordinating and providing quality care to clients in the community. You will provide nursing assessment, case coordination and direct care in partnership with clients and their families in their own residence or an alternate care setting, as determined by the assessment. Stettler is located in the “Heart of Alberta”, just 179km southeast of Edmonton and 101km east of Red Deer. It serves as a regional hub with a main trading area involving over 11,000 people. The town has a wide assortment of community facilities including an elementary/junior high school, a composite high school, a library, twin arenas, an aquatic center, a performing arts theatre, and much more. The area also has a few golf courses and is close to Buffalo Lake.
