Join W.O. Stinson & Son Ltd. as a DZ Driver in Ottawa, Ontario. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier fuels and lubricants efficiently and safely from our facilities to our valued clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently to transport fuel delivering to construction equipment on worksites.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients. Customer service is a must! Candidates must have strong customer service skills.
- Ensure timely deliveries to meet customer expectations. Must be able to self manage and adapt to constantly changing workloads
- Qualifications
- Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven safe driving experience.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely & climb up and down from various pieces of construction equipment
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to fuel transportation & heavy equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Proven customer service skills
- Prior experience in fuel or hazardous materials transportation is a plus.
