With our continued expansion and growth, we have immediate openings for full-time production workers to join our busy team in our Fergus location. As we manufacture and package many products, duties change regularly. Moderate lifting is required with some tasks requiring the lifting of up to 25 kg. Attention to detail is a must. Hours for day shift are 6 am to 3:00 Monday to Thursday and 6 am to noon Friday. Overtime may be available at times. Safety shoes are required with all other protective/safety equipment provided. Duties
- Packaging of products to conform with all specifications.
- Cleaning of machinery between product lines
- Assisting supervisors in various tasks such as moving of finished pallets, wrapping pallets
- Maintaining quality checks through the shift
- Following all safety procedure
Required Skills and characteristics
- Applicants should have good dexterity and be able to lift cartons up to 25kg
- Be comfortable working with others as a team
- Understand safety and how to work around machinery
- Ability to focus on detail to ensure all products are produced as required
- Should have excellent communications skills with other staff and supervisors
- Previous manufacturing experience would be an asset

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
