Overview
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, strong time management skills, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while delivering memorable dining experiences.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly as a bartender
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all service areas
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety regulations
- Assist with setting up dining areas and closing duties at the end of shifts
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining a friendly demeanor
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol
