Administrative Support I - Receptionist
Location: Hunting Hills High School
37.5 hours weekly following the school calendar (10 months per year, permanent position)
Commencing October 1, 2026
Hunting Hills High School is seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to provide efficient front-office and administrative support in a busy high school environment. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.
This position is paid on grid SE of the Classified Staff grid, with a current range of $19.76 to $27.62 per hour.
Primary responsibilities:

Greet and assist students, parents, staff, visitors, and the public

Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system

Receive, sort, distribute, and prepare outgoing mail and courier shipments

Provide general information and administrative assistance to students, families, and staff

Use PowerSchool, Google Workspace, and other school systems to maintain accurate information and records

Assist with daily student attendance

Perform other duties as assigned
Required skills and qualifications:
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

Training from an accredited Office Administration program with a minimum of two years of related experience

Proficiency with PowerSchool, Google Workspace, and other office technology, with the ability to quickly learn new systems

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to communicate in a calm and professional manner with students, parents, staff, district personnel, and the public

Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
