As a CPAP Consultant, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering our CPAP program, including clinical setups and personalized support for clients. You’ll also promote the rental and sale of medical equipment and related services, helping clients find the right solutions for their unique needs.
Your day-to-day will include providing hands-on orientation and training for clients, clinicians, and team members, as well as, ensuring confidence and comfort in using CPAP and related equipment. You'll also have opportunities to represent the company at seminars and meetings, staying current with industry best practices and upholding the highest standards of patient care.
What You’ll Do
As a CPAP Consultant, you’ll be building meaningful connections with clients and healthcare professionals while promoting wellness, education, and trusted solutions. Your role will be dynamic, customer-focused, and impactful, helping individuals breathe easier and live better.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
- Build Awareness: Represent and promote our products and services, expanding visibility within the community and among healthcare providers.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, providing knowledgeable, personalized consultations that support informed purchasing decisions.
- Sales & Service: Present and demonstrate equipment, prepare quotes, and assist clients with product selection and rentals, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience.
- Education & Training: Deliver engaging product orientations to clients, caregivers, and clinical partners—including demonstrations, updated materials, and ongoing support.
- Product Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends by attending workshops, seminars, and product education sessions.
- Reporting & Accountability: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, equipment use, and service calls. Ensure stock equipment is secured, tracked, and properly maintained.
- Therapy Support: Actively support patients in achieving CPAP therapy compliance through follow-up, encouragement, and accessible education.
- Funding Coordination: Liaise with government and third-party funding agencies to assist clients in obtaining financial approvals.
- Health & Safety: Follow all relevant health, safety, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe and professional environment.
- Team Contribution: Embrace a collaborative, inclusive workplace by supporting other team members and participating in broader company initiatives.
What You Bring
A blend of clinical expertise, consultative skills, and a passion for patient-centered care!
- You are a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Nurse (RN), or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with an active Ontario license in good standing with your respective college or board.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience, ideally within a hospital or private respiratory care setting.
- Previous clinical CPAP experience is a strong asset.
- Strong consultative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide clients and healthcare providers on the selection and use of our products and services.
- Comprehensive understanding of CPAP equipment and other related medical products.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of educating individuals and groups on equipment usage, care, and servicing.
- You excel at building and maintaining client relationships, with a service-oriented and empathetic approach.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
- Sound judgment in offering advice on rentals vs. purchases, pricing structures, evaluation periods, and service agreements.
- You are continuously looking for ways to improve patient outcomes and can evaluate and recommend enhancements to sales programs or methods.
- Passion about delivering Legendary Customer Service and take pride in going above and beyond for your clients.
