Ignite Pizzeria has a NEW location in North Vancouver's Lower Lonsdale neighbourhood, slated to open in July 2026. We are seeking positions to be filled as pizza makers, kitchen helpers, and cashier/servers, with the chance to be part of an opening team for this new restaurant.
The Company: Ignite Pizzeria first opened its doors in the Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood in 2017, followed by Gastown, Yaletown, and South Surrey. Ignite creates handmade artisanal pizza in a stone-baked oven, seeking quality, consistency, and generosity in all that we do. We use only the finest ingredients and aim to create the best quality pizza in the city. We are known for the pride we take in our handcrafted pizza, our amazing menu, and the great care we take with clients and employees alike.
The Position: We’re looking for a Line Cook, full-time (35-40 hours per week) The pay range depends on experience; we offer an hourly rate plus average tips of approximately $3-4/hour.
Requirements:
· A friendly disposition and passionate work ethic
· Ability to work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends.
· Food safety experience an asset
· A great communicator and listener
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and making sauces.
- Maintain kitchen and workstation cleanliness and organization.
- Support cooking tasks like grilling, frying, and sautéing.
- Help manage inventory by monitoring and stocking ingredients.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members for efficient service.
