Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Agents to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position requires strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach to effectively resolve payment issues while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Full Time - Permanent - Onsite
Competitive Salary + Commission +Referral Bonus
Monday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Wednesday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Plus, ONE Saturday shift per month: 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Duties
- Contact clients via phone and email to collect overdue payments on accounts.
- Analyze account information to identify discrepancies and develop strategies for resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in accounting software.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their accounts.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette to foster positive interactions with clients.
- Prepare account analysis reports to track collection progress and identify trends.
- Work closely with the financial services team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Strong math skills for accurate account analysis and financial reporting.
- Experience in accounts receivable or collections is preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building client relationships.
- Effective phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with clients professionally.
- Ability to analyze financial data and develop actionable strategies for debt recovery.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
