Mission of the position
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent is responsible for various tasks related to the dispatch and receipt of goods.
Main tasks
- Unload the equipment using a forklift truck or hand pallet truck;
- Store received equipment in the appropriate sections of the warehouse (compressors, dryers, motors, pumps and oils);
- Prepare and package equipment to ship orders (including wood pallet manufacturing);
- Move parts and/or equipment to be used for modifications or maintenance;
- Prepare and ship materials for trade shows;
- Receiving goods in SAP;
- Collect and label warranty parts;
- Serve the team when the forklift is required;
- Inspect and arrange for proper maintenance of the forklift;
- All other related tasks.
Job requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in shipping and receiving
- Driving license - Valid Forklift license
- Knowledge of English languages
- General knowledge of information technology
- Experience with SAP an important asset
- Capacity frequently lifts loads of 50 lbs
- Capacity to walk long distance
- Knowledge of logistics and carriers an asset (ERP)
- Able to have attention to details
- Good work ethic
