JOB SUMMARY:
Primarily responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through responsiveness, a positive attitude, and efficient processing of customer orders and returns. Ensures accuracy in all work and maintains clear, professional communication. Inside Sales personnel provide product and service information while resolving customer account issues promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers
- Manage a large volume of incoming calls and emails
- Input customer orders and returns accurately and efficiently
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly
- Provide product/service information and offer substitute products where appropriate
- Offer custom solutions for customer requests
- Identify sample parts from customers and provide detailed quotes
- Support Outside Sales team with quotes, follow ups and special projects
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Collaborate and work effectively with team members in all departments
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager or General Manager
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience in an industrial or technical environment.
- Knowledge or experience with hydraulic and pneumatic seals is an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with IFS and Ring Central is a plus.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and judgment abilities.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in English and French
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience providing excellent customer service.
- Experience processing customer orders, returns, and providing product/service information efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to support sales teams with quotes, follow-ups, and special projects.
- Familiarity with industrial products, parts identification, and quoting procedures is preferred.
