Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized and hygienic workspace through efficient cleaning practices.
Morning Shift- 7 am to 3 pm
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
- Clean outside walls and mirrors, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Ensure all assigned areas are kept tidy, organized, and presentable throughout the shift
Requirements
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation is a plus for timely arrival at scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
