Snapshot of the Position:
At Colemans, we delight in providing our guests with the highest quality product. We are seeking a Head Chef who is energetic, creative and is passionate about delivering the highest quality of food preparation and presentation, memorable dining experiences and developing their teams. The responsibilities of this position would involve the daily production of a wide variety of foods
What You’ll Do
- Overseeing food production for the full serve buffet, as well as take home meals
- Ensuring food quality is up to standards set by Colemans
- Ensuring food safety protocols are followed
- Scheduling of kitchen staff
- Ordering and maintaining adequate stock levels to ensure production and wastage are kept on budget
- Developing new menu items in conjunction with category management to keep our food “fresh” for our customers
- Other related tasks as assigned by Store Management
Hours of Work
40 hours per week
Rate of Pay
Staring at $42,500 per Year
Your “Must Have” Skill Set
- Commitment to Colemans Culture, Vision, and Values
- Ability to deliver the “extraordinary” service that is fundamental to Colemans Mission
- Deli department experience is not essential, but preferred
- A current clear Certificate of Conduct is a requirement
- 5 years experience working as a chef. Red Seal recommended
