You as a Supervisor, Plant & Operations will:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance activities, including preventive and reactive work
- Ensure building systems and equipment are maintained in a safe and reliable condition
- Oversee completion of work orders and service requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Supervise, schedule, and support operational staff, ensuring appropriate coverage and performance
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors and service providers
- Respond to tenant/resident service requests professionally and efficiently
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and exterior elements including cleanliness and seasonal services
- Assist in budget oversight, cost control, and resource planning
- Ensure compliance with all safety programs, policies, and regulatory requirements
Is this the right role for you?
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or building operations
- Technical certification or trade license preferred (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Operator)
- Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Experience coordinating contractors and managing service delivery
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Valid driver’s license is considered an asset
- The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000
