Reservations Specialist (Remote - Must Reside in Nova Scotia)

We're looking for a Reservations Specialist who loves helping people, enjoys building connections, and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences from the very first interaction.
From your home office anywhere in Nova Scotia, you'll become one of the welcoming voices of White Point. You'll help guests choose the perfect cottage, answer questions about their stay, celebrate special occasions, and sometimes help a family create a tradition they'll return to year after year.
What You'll Do
You'll guide guests through the reservation process with warmth, confidence, and attention to detail by:
- Answering incoming calls and guest inquiries
- Creating, updating, and managing reservations
- Helping guests choose accommodations that best fit their needs
- Processing deposits and confirmations
- Managing gift certificates and special requests
- Resolving reservation questions with professionalism and care
The Person We're Looking For
You genuinely enjoy helping people.
You know how to listen carefully and communicate clearly. You're organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing several tasks at once. You can work independently but love being part of a team that shares a common goal: creating memorable experiences for every guest.
Experience in hospitality, tourism, reservations, or customer service is an asset, but equally important is a positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional service.
Knowledge of Maestro is considered an asset, along with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer-based systems.
We would looking for availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and as business needs require.
