We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to support building, facility, and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety‑focused, and experienced using basic tools and equipment on relevant projects. The successful applicant must be willing to adapt to seasonal duties and work in changing weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general labour and industrial tasks, including site preparation and basic facility work.
- Assist with maintenance activities such as painting, carpentry, landscaping, and minor mechanical or plumbing tasks.
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
- Clean and maintain work areas, removing debris and handling materials safely.
- Maintain facilities and grounds, including snow removal and seasonal outdoor work.
- Use basic hand and power tools; operate forklifts or lifts when trained and authorized.
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs, with help or equipment when needed.
- Work with supervisors, coworkers, and contractors to complete tasks safely.
- Follow all health and safety rules, wear required PPE, and report hazards or issues.
- Adapt to changing tasks and work environments while staying productive and safe.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with general labour, maintenance, or facility support work is an asset.
- Comfortable performing indoor and outdoor physical work.
- Able to use basic hand and power tools safely.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, with assistance as required.
- Willing to follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Able to take direction and work well as part of a team.
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to handle changing job duties.
