Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure Enablement Projects in this role will lead and drive a portfolio of critical technology and operational enablement initiatives across our campus ecosystem. This hybrid role requires a strategic leader who seamlessly bridges the gap between complex business needs, enterprise technology teams, campus network infrastructure, and external vendor delivery. The successful candidate will initially champion two high-impact initiatives: a critical campus-wide IoT Software Rollout Enablement project and an enterprise-scale Cleaning Management Solution Implementation for Facilities Services.
Core Project Portfolios

1. IoT Software Rollout Enablement (Estimated Duration: 4–6 Months)

Drive the end-to-end implementation of an innovative software solution designed to interface directly with ’s extensive campus network infrastructure and devices.

Coordinate across diverse infrastructure teams to manage technology implementations involving critical network components (e.g., ports, VLANs, and hardware device connectivity).

Mitigate technical risks associated with large-scale device deployment on a secure institutional network.

2. Cleaning Management Solution Implementation (Estimated Duration: 6 Months)

Lead the deployment of a modern facilities services management solution, integrated as an extension of ’s existing enterprise software platform.

Partner closely with Facilities Operations to translate on-the-ground business processes into technology workflows.

Manage vendor deliverables and application configurations to streamline cleaning and maintenance management across campus facilities.
Key Responsibilities

Project Governance & Delivery: Manage full project lifecycles using structured project management methodologies, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met across both tracks.

Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary conduit between institutional business units, IT infrastructure experts, Facilities Operations, and external vendors.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and proactively mitigate risks related to network dependencies, software integration gaps, and operational change management.

Vendor & Application Management: Oversee vendor performance, ensuring software deliverables align with project specifications, cybersecurity standards, and institutional goals.

Business Process Enablement: Map, analyze, and optimize business workflows to ensure successful user adoption of the new enterprise and IoT software tools.
Required
-
7–10 years of experience managing complex IT and operational projects within a large public-sector organization, enterprise corporate environment, or major post-secondary institution.

Proven experience leading technology rollouts that intersect with physical network infrastructure.
- Must have solid working knowledge of network dependencies, including ports, VLANs, device connectivity, and hardware-to-software integration.

Demonstrated track record of implementing modules or extensions within major enterprise asset management (EAM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), or facilities management software platforms. Experience collaborating directly with physical plant or facilities operations teams is a distinct asset.

Exceptional experience holding external software vendors accountable to tight project schedules, combined with strong change management skills to support campus staff through business process transitions.

Elite communication skills with the ability to translate technical network concepts to business stakeholders and vice versa. Proven ability to build consensus across decentralized, matrixed project teams.

Education & Professional Credentials:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
