Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and supporting overall restaurant operations to deliver a memorable dining experience. Breakfast experience is preferred. Candidate must be available to work every day and ready to start immediately.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, and relay them to kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed during food handling and serving
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in accordance with sanitation standards
- Provide guest services that promote guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry best practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering functions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, change making, and cash handling
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence
Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour
