Job Title: Project Foreman

Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract (24 Months) Full-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated ProjectForeman to join our construction team on a 24-month fixed-term project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and proven leadership experience, capable of coordinating site activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
This role works closely with the Site Superintendent and plays a key role in day-to-day site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Site Superintendent and provide real-time updates on site progress, manpower, and issues
- Monitor execution of work in accordance with project schedules, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with on-site trade foremen and internal labour crews
- Lead daily labour activities to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
- Plan and organize short-term work activities
- Assist the Superintendent with site logistics and sequencing of work
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in coordination with the site CSO
- Attend in toolbox talks; enforce safe work practices
- Identify and mitigate safety hazards and escalate concerns as required to the CSO
- Maintain site cleanliness and organization (housekeeping)
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards and tolerances
- Conduct regular inspections and identify deficiencies; coordinate corrective actions
- Support and guide carpentry work including formwork, framing, and finishing
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and site resources
- Assist with procurement planning and inventory control
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure scopes of work are understood and executed properly
- Communicate effectively with trades, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Assist in resolving on-site conflicts and technical challenges
- Participate in site meetings and provide input on progress and constraints
- Enforce company standards, procedures, and applicable building codes

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Foreman experience in construction
- Strong carpentry background (formwork, framing, finishing experience)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Compensation:
· Competitive Wage based on Experience
Expected Hours:
· 40+ hours per week, occasional Saturday
Pay: Up to $42.00 per hour
