Sales & Marketing Representative

A well-established and award-winning interior design company based on Vancouver Island is seeking a motivated, relationship-focused Sales & Marketing Representative to help expand our client base, develop strategic partnerships, and increase brand awareness.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating qualified leads, developing referral partnerships, and supporting the company’s sales and marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and connecting with builders, contractors, developers, realtors, property managers, and other potential referral partners
- Conducting outbound calls, emails, networking, and in-person business development
- Following up with prospective clients and nurturing leads
- Attending networking events, trade shows, and community functions
- Supporting social media, email marketing, and promotional campaigns
- Maintaining organized records of leads, contacts, and follow-up activities
- Representing the company professionally and communicating its services and value
- Working closely with the owner to develop and implement sales strategies
- Meeting agreed-upon lead generation and sales targets
The Ideal Candidate
You may be a great fit for this role if you:
- Have previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, or account management
- Are comfortable initiating conversations and building new professional relationships
- Are confident making outbound calls and following up consistently
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Are organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Understand relationship-based selling and consultative sales
- Have an interest in interior design, construction, renovations, real estate, or home improvement
- Are familiar with Vancouver Island’s business and construction community
- Have access to reliable transportation for local meetings and events
Experience within the interior design, construction, real estate, or home-services industries is considered an asset but is not required.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a commission-based position with strong earning potential for a motivated and results-driven individual.
Compensation may include:
- Commission on qualified projects and sales generated

Schedule
This position offers flexibility but requires consistent weekly outreach, follow-up, and availability for occasional daytime networking events and client or partner meetings.
Both part-time and growth-oriented candidates may be considered.
