The Evergreens Foundation is actively searching for a dynamic and motivated Permanent Full-Time, Second Cook to join our team at our Beautiful Alpine Summit Seniors Lodge located in Jasper.

Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing meals i.e., stocks, soups, salads, sauces, meats, starches, vegetables, proteins, and desserts.
- Following prepared menus such as special diets and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to and enforce all appropriate workplace regulations, compliances, and legislation regarding health and safety, food preparation standards, and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure food is handled, stored, and cooked according to health and safety standards, Safe Food Handling and regulated temperature guidelines.
- Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
Ideal Candidate
- 2 years of experience with volume food preparation.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and attitude at all times.
- Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
- Shift is a Four (4) on Four (4) off rotation @ 9.5 Hours per Shift.
NOTE: The successful candidate must have a clear Vulnerable Sector Check that can be provided. Hourly rate per the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local Union No. 955.
